Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Ram Gopal Varma Supports Karan Johar; Asks Why 'Sushant Took His Life After 12 Yrs Of Fame'
A debate on nepotism in Bollywood has once again caught momentum because of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. It is being reported that Sushant, being an outsider, struggled to survive in the industry despite being talented and that drove him to take his own life. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who gave a heartfelt tribute to SSR, is being blamed incessantly on social media and is even being called a bully. While many seem furious, it is Ram Gopal Varma who has come to his defense.

The Aag filmmaker has made a series of tweets talking about how society will crumble if there is no nepotism. He speaks about how it is in human nature to take care of their near and dear ones first and that Sushant should have been happy with the name and fame he had attained. He also penned that there were many other filmmakers who wanted to work with him.

He started with writing, "Blaming @karanjohar for what happened is ridiculous and just shows lack of understanding of how film industry works ..Even assuming Karan had a problem with Sushant it’s his choice of who he wants to work with, like its any film makers choice about who they want to work with."

In his next tweet, he mentioned Sushant and wrote, "If Sushant after 12 yrs of fame and money took his life becos he was made to feel like an outsider then a 100 actors suicides per day will be justified who couldn’t reach anywhere near Sushant. If u can’t b happy with what u have u will never be happy with whatever u have.Period!" Check out all his tweets below:
